Avery’s Playground Smile

Avery is a five-year-old sweetheart from Raleigh. She was diagnosed with a DIPG brain tumor three months ago. This is the type of tumor Meg battled, unfortunately the prognosis for these types of tumors are 9-12 months. Avery and her family needed a smile!

Avery likes to play with her brothers and sisters in their backyard. She has always wanted a cool backyard playground. Avery and her family worked with our friends at Backyard Playground to design a playground that would have everything she and her family wants. The playground was custom built and installed in near record time!
