Imagine going to the doctor’s office with your 3-year-old energetic son for what you think is a sprained ankle and finding out it is actually leukemia. This is what happened to Conner and his family three years ago. Conner, now aged 6, continues to battle acute lymphoblastic leukemia. Conner loves video games and has always wondered what it was like to be a police officer.

Conner’s smile started with a Nintendo Switch with games being delivered to his house. After that, it was off to the Garner Police Department courtesy of our friends at The Right Limo. Conner got to see what it was like to be a police officer for the day. The family also had lunch to round out his special day.

A special thank you to the Garner Police Department for extending a great big welcome to Conner and his family. Thanks to you, our supporters, for making this special day possible for Conner!
